Just needs some shelves up to keep the floor clear now

You aren't wrong Rob.

I want a tool board and some decent strong shelves. I reckon that shelves above the bench for consumables would be a good idea.

Anyone know of good types of shelf for garage use and where to buy a tool board from (I suppose I make my own)

make your own; that way you can do it to suit exactly what you want/ need.

I guess it would be for the best.

I'm thinking of putting heavy duty shelves all the way across at the back of the garage and the tool board on the wall to the right of the toolbox.

Personally I do not like tool boards. The first time you do a messy grinding/cleaning/spraying job on the bench and all your tools are covered in bobar. My tools all live in my box for this reason.

I think the new Britney spears album is bobar

I may leave the board for now. Stuff has been in box for ages so its not like its a problem.

I'm gonna get the shelves up soon enough but I think I have done enough work on my man cave for now. I need to crack on with the car.

Block is away for boring at the moment and I'm getting on with selecting components for the gearbox build.

After that I've gotta get the rotating assemble balanced (Mr Fenton can I have a trigger wheel please *wink*) then I can start screwing things together.

I'd get the shelves up now. Otherwise i can guess it will be on the long list of things to do and all you will do is curse as you trip over the stuff when it is sitting on the floor...............

That's a blast back from my childhood, if I'm correct the pronunciation and phonetic spelling is bob-are, a fabulous word that indeed means anal waste, poo, shit, turd ect

Such as 'Oli79 has a tool board and his gear does indeed get covered on bobar such as dust, metal filings, overspray or biscuit crumbs but it does not matter because all his tools are cheap bobar anyhow'

Incidentaly I think every album made after 1996 is bobar, we reached a peak around 1988 LOL

The brackets are a bit overkill (200kg load rating each) but they shouldn't ever give way! lol

Yep! However due to my incompetence with the drill I ended up with the middle bracket of the top shelf 5mm lower than the end two! Couldn't be arsed to move it so won't be storing any bowling balls or marbles up there! Lol

Bottom one is bang on tho.
