I only said new liner as the old one is likely to be full of dust etc from the mild steel wire running through it. Could lead to contamination. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

That looks like it's worked out quite well, the longer inlet means the centre branch can be longer. Should together make for a good increase.

Paul if I may ask a silly question maybe, with having a manifold with such long tubes, would you be losing some of thebheat energy in the exhaust which could maybe be beneficial for the turbo ? To be honest I just fabricated a log style manifold for my 998cc turbo project, thinking it was better performance-wise... only now I'm reading this thread. What are the thoughts ?
