I have been doing more work this weekend, I have mounted the gauges in the dash, I am having an LCD display made for me which will go in it's own pod above the rev counter. The new Display will show, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, water temp, air charge temp, Turbo boost, wheel speed, odometer and Lambda readout. So I don't need many gauges. But I do need lots of wires!!



All electics (light ect) are now working, and number plates and lightes are working.



I've also fitted the harness's



Thursday evening I plan to setup suspension, do the corner weights and mount the arches. The rolling road is still on for Friday, and I hope to be doing some testing in the car at pod on Saterday (weather permitting)

1. Remove ulgy boyracer rear lights.
2. Paint engine in the right colour.

oops.. yeah, its on the 3rd..

A suspesion setup was done last night, and the car weighs 570 kg's not bad as a I have a silly amount of tube in cage!

Arches are now mounted.

Had the car on the rollers today, but no printout sorry, (will sort data log output out soon)



Basically, had problems with wheel spin above 16psi, so this is the only reading I could get, but fuelling is good for 18psi

198 lbs ft @4000 rpm

187.5bhp @ 5000 rpm


Stuart Gurr, the rolling road guy could not believe how the power and torque did not drop hardly anything after peak figures where reached. He says this is easily over 200bhp at 18psi!



Cell temp was around 20 – 25 degrees, air charge temp peaked at 41 degrees

Don't know about that matt, I still have to get off the line! I have just tried it on the road, launching is not easy at 16psi on damp roads.

I took the mini for an MOT today, it passed! one less thing todo before avon. I'm off to buy some tax next.

i went to get weighed this morning-however i overslept then my exhaust fell off on the way, when i got there they were closed!!

ive shortened my actuator now, just off for a play, i may even wind it right up!

Does it spin in fourth?
