Glad it was ok in the end for you Nic, it does looks good, as you know I found it an easy car to snap, must have been all the hospitality and bacon buttys leading up to it! that's got to have helped! Cheers fella. Now going to read yours, just read mine, I think Mr ruggles did a cracking job, some people know the car and it must have been hard writing new stuff about it. and very few mistakes, always hard to get all the info down correct in one go.
And was pleased to see the old girl on the cover again , they didn't say if it was or not so i was in the dark about it, shame you can see me on it lol. I hope I can carry on forward with things but that figure you see in the made was done in late 2006 so not sure how much more I can go but 350 has to be the next target lol.
Nice to see a page on John K to, looking forward to hopefully doing his one soon.

Mini 13 yes at the end of 06, been wanting to tell you all ever since!!!

Leonard as for the torque i could work it back by maths, but the RR i normaly use is a killo watt one, with no torque fig. How ever, lasty year i had a few runs on another RR and this was a much newer set up that tells you every thing. And on a very tied engine (proven bay a leak down test during the year) and a turbo that was warn to as i couldn't make the boost i normaly need, it made 256 Lb ft of torque. (with the gas)

You must have one hell of a clutch setup to cope with all that torque.

Get her on a diet matt, i bet it will be amazing down the 1/4.

good that's it's inspired to get going with yours. As for a diet, i think i'll leave that for Nic and Tom....and come to think about it most people lol, got to be different :p but yes it WOULD be good then i'm sure.

Now hes on 310.9, hes just raised that bar a little bit more, incredible

(and on a normal gearset and clutch!!)

TO be honest it wasnt much of a scrapper, it had taken a hit, but only needed a sill, theres some pics when i got it in my link in my sig

Yes Rob they knocked Years off me!! I think they had to do some photo work on my face, so it didn't scare people off! No it was because there was a light over half my face, I wasn't to worried about that, it would have just meant people didn't see me :p, So they sorted it out so you can, all clever stuff.

You shouldn't have said that Nic, as every one was thinking you have restored it all back from the dark depths, now we know you just put a wing on it and hay presto, 12 sec here was are lol
