ok lets be serious , you taken it back to bare , but you have still got to get the dents out of it , prime , guide coat and poss refill prime , flat , top coat , flat n polish
Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

i also like the way that bits of thin steel have been removed to make it lighter, then he has welded in all those bloody great scaffold poles!

ryan, the cage is made from t45, a bit lighter than scaffolding poles!!!

It's now been painted inside and underneath. This weekend I can start to put the thing back together.

Jimster, did you ever weight the carbon parts? I am thinking of buying the flip front, bonnet and doors from Curley. A weight comparison info would be great!

Harry, I didn't weight the doors, but cant remeber what they where, I wrote it down somewhere I'll have a look for it.

Would be great if you still had the weight data! My Countryman weight shocked me: 770kg with 3/4 tank full. Now the car is on "diet". Bimmer Twinky headed and turboed A-Series:
