My air ratchet saves even more time than my stubby ratchet spanners, but this week I got a Sykes Pickevant ball joint splitter, saved me SOOOOO much time!

I'm guessing these are either; Britool or Snap On?

I'm after a set but I could do with out spending a tenner a socket if I can avoid it.

Yeah they're snap on. More than a tenner a socket iirc a set of 12 was about £150. Worth their weight in gold. Just got a set of six but in 3/8 drive from Mac tools for £29.

Hello dont suppose you have got the part number for the set you bought for £29 as i asked our local mac man and we had a look and they were 99 exc vat

Same tool is cheaper @ MS; http://minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=pb&p...L%20SEAL%20TOOL

maybe not with postal costs, even it it weights shite, they still send it over by freaking expensive airmail.

Oops, off topic there.

Right now very pleased with aluminium carjack, just 8 cm groundheight, anodized blue, an take 1500 kg, just 2 strokes and you're all jacked up!

I have a sizeable collection of Churchill & SP special tools - my favourite is probably the primary gear oil seal remover, but the top arm bearing remover is pretty damn cool too.

first new tool I love so far this year

Clarke Mini Sheet Metal Cutter.

Its bloody good!!, mounted it in my vice as is depicted on Machinemart and it made piss easy work on 1.2mm sheet, absolutely zero effort required. I will never be using hand shears when I know I can use this. As far as I am concerned, it has already paid for itself in the reduced effort and time, and actually making a pleasure to fabricate stuff.

Thoroughly recomend this if you are considering doing any decent amount of body work!!!!!!!!!!...........

I want more tools!
One of my favourites is probably my Dremel; followed by my angle grinder + 1mm cutting discs.
Gotta love the MIG too.

I'd love an air compressor and decent air tools though.

I got the 150 piece Halfords set for Christmas off the missus too. I do love it. The vice and the led inspection lamp are the 2 that made life the easiest when I go off of my mums drive.
