It almost seems like the balace bar wants a guide of some sort...

cant find a close up pic of the kad box, think they were on my putfile account before it went up the shitter, ill take some more when im next down the garage

essentially the main fulcrum pivots in only one axis, like a hinge, and the transmission link to the balance bar is simlar to a rose joint to allow the bar to apply differing pressures to the m/c's

i might be (probably am) wrong, but from your pics, have you used a rose joint type affair as the main fulcrum?

There is a spherical bearing/bush shrunk fit in the rocker that the balance bar goes through, if that's what you mean?

Postybrought some more goodies!

Bottom end is ready for balancing this week plus a few other bits. Final mod to the block is tap the oil gallery core plugs for grub screws.

Well I chucked the 998 back in it, then put a hole in a piston.

Then my mate lent me his 1380, but it cost me too much in oil so took it back out.

So now she's got a 998 with a 1098 head, hi lift rockers and lightened flywheel on it (pretty nippy for a 998).



Just got hold of a ultralight flywheel for the 1430.

Also a mega jolt and MED LD roller tipped rockers and a weber 45 on a gert huge manifold.

On the lookout now for a close ratio gearbox.


Will update as the bottom end gets built.
