I'm going to try lining the outside of the heatshield with some kind of blanket too. On 19th Jan, 2010 wil_h said:

Jason, still interested to see the basic design, ie, whether it is shaped to cover the turbo only or whether it is also shaped for an HIF44.

I'd definately buy a heatshield too mate, having seen the quality of the bulkhead box!!!

Got 2 bulkhead boxes left. Heatshields available in a weeks time. Stainless steel chassis with heat retardant foil fitted.
