well people little update i just bought myself a fibreglass clubman one piece front of ebay for £22 :) just gotta pick it up at the weekend an then cutting my front will conmense :) any tips for fitting fg one piece front welcome

so tonight iv spent most my time stripping my spare Siezed engine down as the block it kufuked pics as follows


good crank :)


good gearbox :)

good head diff an cam :)

right so not a very good start today as iv now discovered my piston rings have gone or somthing along them lines ,compresion is down to under 110psi an its smoking like a bitch an using to much oil , so iv now decieded to do a convertion 1.4 16v rover k series convertion just sourced my doner car a r reg rover metro gte an that should be getting delivered over the weekend at some point so updates on that will begin when it get here :)
anyone know how to change the thread name ?

so after a few housr in the garage firstly cleaning it ,then stripping the head off , then i dropped the subframe ready to cut the front of an start the rover conversion

bit of a problem with funding at the moment so conversions gone on hold an i decided to use the spare 998 engine i had in the back of the workshop an then i picked up a clubman fibreglass front for £22 so i couldnt let it go (mine had started rusting)

big update got it running again last night finished plumming all the pipe work in an electrics :)
iv lowered the back an put adjustable camber brackets,iv painted the dash white to match ,few other bits an bobs an photoshopped my wheels but im unsure weather to paint them or not




SHOULD I PAINT MY WHEELS ??

Here's one a few years ago of a buddy's Van and my then GMC Suburban. I guess the Americans got the shape roughly right but not the size*wink*

Keep them silver. You need some contrast on the car.
