The first turbo motor that I built had a mg cam and 1.5:1 rockers, I ran turbo pistons machined with a bigger dish and a de beaked head. Im sure it was around 8.5:1. That's impressive. Just sourcing and waiting for parts to rebuild but Oli's MG cam has arrived (cheers Oli) and Adams 10cc Omegas should be en-route. Goin over Somerfords in the morning for the rest of the parts and have a verto RTS conversion and new plate to fit as well. Hopefully that'll delay the onset of clutchslip when it's hot, not that it did it much before, just on the RR. Will update hopefully with build news when I'm back from holiday. Rich. Not heard of Bowdens or used them before, have you got more details about where they are Rob ? It's more than likely I'm gonna do a dry build to ascertain exactly what more needs to come out the bowls and then give them a call. I have all the parts now, except the pistons. Cheers mate

yeah ive had a few jobs done by them and they are gonna do a lot of my k head block machining, very good guys. If you come down the A38 towards filton and come off just after the toyota and esso garage there is a road just after and they are down there on the corner. |
