assuming 1:1 drops and 165/70 tyres

Doesn't bother me greatly, I'd rather it was a 3.44 or 3.2 but hey :)

Easier to change to 12" wheels on the day to up the top speed slightly if absolutely needed??

But that depends on whether you are going to attempt to lift the class D trophy or if you are just going up the strip for a bit of fun.......

Not so much negative just very interested in all these facts, rolling road print looks fictional (The all important IMO is added). Nice(Very) car don't get me wrong, i do have the Miniworld it is in and is one fine looking car, although not my taste.

well I was there when the car ran on Saturday...

I saw it on the screen and I saw it come off the printer...

I have doctored it admitdly... I took Matt's name of using Paint LOL, just to wind folks up a touch :)

The rest is totally genuin.

I fully agree its a big figure, so lets call them bannana's from now on :)

Like I say, I didnt buy the car to race... I got a racer I'll build up to be competetive over time, I want to play with a few basic things 1st :)

So with the 3.7 diff,180BHP(?), 10 inch rims and dropping off the power at 5100ish what is the top end speed??

please don't make me, and the rest of this forum that know a bit, laugh by quoting much over 100MPH.

I RACED MY BROTHER IN A 180 BHP TURBO MAZDA, ALONG WITH MY MATE IN A 220 BHP FORD MONDANO, AND WE COULDNT KEEP UP WITH MATT. I COULDNT GO ABOVE 112MPH COS I HAVE A SPEED RESTRICTION, FECKIN JAPS. SO I NO THAT IT DOES ATLEST 112! I COULDNT KEEP UP . SWEAR ON MY LIFE. DONT BELIEVE ME, THEN WHEN ALEX GETS IT, ASK HIM POLITELY TO TAKE IT UP THE MOTORWAY AND FOLLOW HIM IN A VERRY FAST CAR!

im not messing around.

three cheers for all the turbo minis out there

Slurp)
It has got the nicest paint I've seen on a turbo mini for sure - I can't argue with that!!!

Pass me a hobnob.

(slurp)

If wheels are spinning at 7psi, maybe suspesion geometry/corner weights need checking?

(slurp)

glad you like the paint job, i did it. also matt did needed corner weights set up, but never had time, and, bill sollis was driving, that why it wheel span so much me tinks?! *happy*

Also, a car would be able tp pull more rpms in top with a 3,7 than a 3,44- At least most cars...

6300 should be around 100mph on my abacus
going with a 3.7diff, 165/70/10's and 1:1 drops

...like i said, ive seen it faster than 112mph, but, it will rev to 8k, as matts tako is 1k down, and the RR proved this. once again we and SRE were joint suprised (obviously dont take it that high)

the paint master! *surprised*D

Will it rev to 8k in any gear?

My motor won't, and if you look at my power graph ( http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=4213 ) power looks like it's still going up at 6K.

(20" slicks, 4.1 FD 1:1 drops, you do the math........s)

All I was getting at is that the daddy is already involved and has so far said things other people don't like/agree/etc.

Not having a dig at anyone :p
