im a lift engineer, just started, was a waehouse worker b4 while i was doing my HND in business IT. have just passed that and had a bit of a change and now a lift engineer.

speed is the best rush i have ever had!!!

just so you all know :-

Im a mandatory equipment inspector for the ministry of defence.
I carry out the inspections in acordance with the current AESP to all plant and associated equipment incuding all types of vehicles, complete all (and there is lots of it) paperwork order any required parts and then carry out the repairs incuding welding and fabricating repairs and / or modifications plus any other tasks that my line manager feels are within my capabilitys (making tea etc)

its a civil servant post with crap pay but a half decent pension (untill 2013 when the current government moves the goal posts and it suddenly become crap!!)

not a bad job really
