So as above, is there any good sites i can go to find out cars MPGs

well I'm sort of being forced in to it.

I have a K reg cav TD which I love dearly as it's done me so well for many years now.

Sadly though the rust has set in and you all no what Vauxhalls are like. So when I turn up on a shoot the impression I give sadly doesn't look to good turning up in a car worth £200, when I might be snapping a car worth many thousands.

I wish that first impressions counted for nothing but sadly as I'm finding out, they do:(

I need some thing relayable so was going to go for some thing like a VW passat estate derv or i have been offered a C 250 derv merc estate. But really not sure, but wanted to check the MPG on the merc really.

im fancying a passat estate too

my dad used to have an a4 110bhp tdi that he could get 60mpg out of!!!

passats are quality i borrow lisa's dads and it will tow 1500kg and still pull 40 mpg

T£ has a nice audi and he gets great mpg so that's was what helped me thing about getting a vw.

Yep, very pleased with it.excellent economy so woud highly recommened the VW as there pretty much the same but VW is cheaper price.

The 130bhp TDi passat should get you around 45-50 mpg depending on what your driving style is. Many bargains to be had on the similar Octavia!

I've got the 2.5 TDi in an A4 and getting about 35 ish - great drive but not any better than the Golf GTI I had on fuel

ceers that sound good advice. a friend is selling his C 250 estate merc TD. does anyone know where there are like on fuel?

Be warned that if you thrash any of the TD stuff the MPG does suffer quite badly though.

yes tom i know what you mean, me cav td can be juicey if you boot it around every where.
