just thought i'd check this setup is ok as it is slightly different to diddy's setup and i my bleedvalve is the 3 legged type, do 2 way bleed valves have literally 2 legs on them as some of the ones i've seen have 2 legs and a hole, this i assume is actually a 3 legged type for under bonnet use.

thats exactly as mine is, use a 2 legged one if you dont want to run a solenoid, or are willing to plumb it in a bit different |

Does that mean then if i use that diagram above that with the switch off that the boost will just be whatever the actuators set at, then when you flick the switch it'll run at whatever the bleed valves set it to?

Yup, with the solenoid closed you would be using actuator pressure.

i don't think you'd need two bleed valves as you could just open the one shown above halfway and this would therefore give more boost when the solenoid is opened (via the switch), however when the solenoid is closed and the bleed valve is still open the lower boost would just be what the actuator is set at. |

If you wanted to get really fancy, you could get a solenoid operated idle air control valve (Ford?) and feed it with a pwm current.
