My mate forgot his licence at pod once, luckily he got his misses to fax a copy to the main office at the gate which they accepted!!

Do you just need yer photo one (if you've got one), or the counterpart too ?

I'd take both parts if you can just to be certain, although I am sure the photocard would be adequate.

I dont have an overflow - is it just a bit of rubber pipe that i need to fit?

an old can will do wedged on the bulkead somewhere.
I would take a few cable ties aswell.
They are always usefull for securing stuff

the overflow comes out the filler neck of the rad . if you only have a hole then you need to get a piece of metal pipe put on to put a hose on into a can.

aralditing a piece of metal tube on would do i'm sure then a hose to a BEER can suitably emptied first of course!!

Hence having to go on friday so i can empty one before saturday!!!

we're (me and dan) leaving about 11ish friday!! going to go down, get setup, finish off whatever needs doing on the car and nip to the tesco for beer/bbq stuff. then just chill out.

thats if the weathers good. if not then probably not go quite so early friday but still friday.

oh yeah and thats providing the RR session goes well thursday!! if i'm not taking the car then we'll head down saturday.

bugger my seats dont have a floor latch to stop em tipping! better get welding
what else is on the scruitineers list? i dont want to get there and find out i cant run!

oh and is the campsite open all night on the friday? i want to travel down on the friday but i cant get set off till 6ish so won't be there till about 9 - 10pm. will we stil be able to get in?

doh! why did i start messing with it!

10pm should be ok but not to worry, just pull up by the gate and camp outside, jump the fence and go to the bar!

lol a 2ft thick steel wall wouldnt keep my mate ben from the bar! he'll go through a fence like a hot knife through butter! just hoping i can find a trailer now to get it down there. i was planning on driving it but its a lot further than i anticipated and a 3.9 diff dosn't make for pleasent motorway cruising :(

I aint gonne be able to make this on the sun (working?!), but plan to come on the sat. Much happen on the sat? Worth coming up? Dont have much moola so could do with saving the petrol if there aint much to see (will def come next year).

Yes it is worth going just for the saturday, there will still be plenty to see and the majority of the cars will be running.

but things arent going my way! just had to book all day tomorrow off now to finish the bits!!

i'm having a shit time aswell. fitted a new clutch today and had my backplate lugs machined down aswell, jumped in the car for a test drive and it just doesn't work. got annoyed threw car and tools back in garage and left it till the morning now.

Booked in at the rollers on thursday though so i got a busy day ahead tomorrow!
