Hello. I've just bought a dump valve with a split diaphragm. Am about to order a kevlar one from Avonbar (as per advice in previous threads) but notice that they say the kevlar one is suitable for 10 - 30psi.

I'm only gonna run standard boost (which doesn't even get a sniff of 10psi!) so will this cause problems??

ive just got one from avonbar not sure if its kevlar but it was the dearer one so i assum so??? im running 7-8psi and it seems to work ok id ring them and ask

I got a supposed "uprated" one from a "certain mini specialist" and it lasted about 1 hour on 10psi, it was utter rubbish and seemed thinner than the standard diaphragm that came with my dump valve.
Get a Kevlar one they seem to be pretty tough.
The kevlar re-inforced ones are a maroon colour and you can see the strands of kevlar moulded into them.
