right may have a small problem. i reckon if i'm lucky i have 1/2" maybe a shade more of ground clearance! thats not a joke!!

its the exhaust causing the problem even though its been fitted as high as it can.

best wind those hi-lo's up a bit!! think i'll save it for saturday though. didnt really want to mess with the suspension as its been set up properly.

i know its ok to the strip, just wasnt sure on the return road.

note the height before you lower it... at each corner.

then you can put it back as it was later on :)

Rather than measure the ground clearance, make a note of how many flats you adjust the hi-los by, then you can reset it to exactly the same place.

nope, its the front thats got the clearance issue, its the downpipe that coul do with moving really.

damn just remembered i've a bracket to make for that! there is about 1mm clearance between it and the hardy spicer!

How have you got such little space? What have you done differently to everyone else?

If you're proposing to race that, then you need more ground crearance than that anyway.

If you go over a rumble-strip, or even get a wheel in the air and come back to earth with a thud, you'll be making a mess of things... Avon is the least of your worries if it's that low IMO

i know its too low, its something i'm going to alter but time is short! *happy*

I really didnt realise how low migs ran until i got all the bits on it!! Easy fix though *smiley*

The clearance issue i'm not too sure about. i dont know if hardy spicers are a bigger diameter than pot joints?

Anyway i'll get a bracket on it and then hopefully give it some tweaking.

Why is nothing straight forward *frown*

I cut about 2" off my downpipe. Its all the way up the tunnel now so it dont stick out at all. I cut a bit too much of as it now catches at the top.

Its only a bit of metal. If it blows it blows!

bring saturday. more sets of helping hands *smiley*

plus saturday night is what avon is all about!

I'll alter the ride height for now until i have chance to sort the exhaust. unless i get chance but i doubt it!

just hoping it doesnt cause an issue at the rollers.
