All my trubo heads already have the hole a tappings for the std mini heater valve...

oh, off the topic, but i will need to drill mine for my mini when the engine goes in, is it a case of just basically, drilling it through? Or is it a properly machined process? Also is there a way to connect the pipes arround so that the heater is still connected and everything, but without a heater tap? Im trying to lose alot of the visable pipes thats all, and my heater tap is always on full anyway as i have no pull mechanism. Want to be able to do it wihtout compromising the heat loss. Thankyou! just drill it out with a 10mm bit, might be an idea to use the hoover to suck the bit of swarf away as you drill. worked for me! On 21st Jan, 2011 fastcarl said:
