if its for the front, just take the wheel off, knock the old stud out with a hammer (with the broken stud at the rear of the flange, closest to the rear wheel, to avoid hitting the caliper)and stick the new stud in, so you can feel it hits the splines square, then I just put an old bolt on and screw it in without having the wheel on. |

Yes, I am sure you can do this without removing the disc from the car.

got that all in. I think my wheel bearing is totally fucked on the pass side, which is why its making crashing noises. if you hit the top of the wheel when the car is on the ground like normal, it goes CHINK.
