Just got back from MBE's and seeing iain on the rollers, they'd spent most the morning sorting bits and peices and literally just got on the rollers when i went there at lunchtime

Didn't have my camera to hand, but its looking fantastic, while i was there on a flat site with std map compensation, it pulled 79 at the wheels, and still messing with various bits and pieces, the boost was coming so fast, awesome.. didn't really want to go back to work

Text has just come in, 100bhp at the wheels..

well unfortunately we havent made it to avon

still coming though. issues with the ecu and setup meant that i've got to come away and leave playing for another day. the rollers arent free tomorrow so no chance

on mikes rollers 79bhp at the wheels is what a top spec miglia see's.

i was running 12psi and getting the same without the correct advance @ 4500rpm.

turbo seems well suited.

oh well, next year

as dan saaid though boost was coming in very hard and the slightest touch of the throttle made the car climb up the rollers as it came on boost!

bit disapointed but hey, no point risking it and blowing it up just for one event.

Buggeration, what are the main issues buddy?

If I have a car built in time I am doing a trackday at Anglesey at the end of august, fancy joining me for that?

Issues with the inital crank timing, possibly aslo coil pack and also the person who built the mig engine (which was last in there) configured the crank pulley wrong!! doh!

now a track day sounds superb. fingers crossed its back on the rollers a week tomorrow and we'll see what banana's we can get.

gutted for you mate, but im sure youll get a car to an avon one year. cant you bring the car anyway so we can have a good nose at it

plenum was fine mate. just too many annoying things not caused by me was the issue.

all my bodges held fine!

i could bring the car mate but sure you'll get to see it at some point!!!

it is tempting to fix it tomoro and run low boost to get me by but i dont want to reck it before its really been tested as it showed a massive amount of promise today.
