With the Turbo beast now in place, I have set to work on the brakes? Have stripped them all down but they need a lot of work so I was tempted to upgrade to mg turbo 4 pot calipers.

However, last night i was offered a set of special made brakes of a 6r4 (look a like) metro challenge car, they have 4 pot alloy caliper (i think these were initially for a ford), special brackets to fit to existing hubs and 10 1/2 discs which just about fit under by 13*7 superlights. These would be very cheap to buy...want u think guys....buy them?

Or phone minispares and just treat myself to a recondition turbo set up?

Paul.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Buy buy buy! Or atleast i would! Sound superb, maybe a bit over the top but who cares! If they fit under your wheels then its fine.

Only thing that worries me is..with the wider brackets the wheels sit out further, and my wheels are just about clearing the fortech arch as it is?

Plus getting replacement discs and pads might be hassle, though there are part numbers on both, so i think I should be able to get these?

I'll try and get a pic and let you see them!
