just got back from avon and got to say what a cracking weekend was nice to see a lot of the TM cars in the metal and doing the buisness up the strip. just wish id had the time to meet a few more people off the forum but i only found the stand on sunday morning and you all looked a bit busy making breakfast!
i managed to get 7 runs in total, best being a 14.947 @ 91.5mph on the saturday, and only 2 runs today a 15.02 and a 15.04 and then broke my waterpump. i was a bit worried the 3.9 diff might leave me short legged and i think it did, i was passing the 1/4 in 4th at 6500-7000rpm on each pass so i think i need to nock it down a little. anway was great fun gonna go to york next time theres a rwyb event on there and see if i can make any improvements on it with a few changes and getting the engine set up on a RR . its quite infectious this drag racing lark

Congrats all you turbo people - much quicker than me and the mrs in her 1600cc vaux mini (turbo WILL be fitted to it for next year tho ) - was embarrasing being the slowest I class car !!!
PS - for those who dont know me, I'm the fat beer bellied person that borrowed Jimster's hacksaw on Saturday night !

lol yeah likewise alex, nice putting a face to the name mate. what did the frog manage in the end? i saw you run once but never got to see the score board?
oh and got to say a big thanks to superchargedstu who lent me his trailer right at the last second, i wouldnt have been able to go if he didnt, thanks a lot mate it was a life saver

Top week end. Managed 9 runs( two on sat as a tester). Last run of the day was the best with 17.5 at 76.4mph. Not bad for a mild tune 1400 I dont think, especialy when it had only 200 miles on it. Gas flowed head, dial in the cam correctly and drop the cat and i recon it may be in the 16's dunno.

Main thing is it didnt go bang, doesn't smoke, pulls like a train, and i had so much fun.
