Well pleased with the way the car performed which is more than can be said for my launch technique*tongue*. 17.5 at 76.4mph on the last run with wheel spin issues, but theres always another day and a stage three head*wink*

Bloody marvelous week end. Realy dissapointed for Jimster, all that hard work that both him, TD and others put in to get it running, but at least its still in a state to sort it rather than a million bits in the gearbox.

Nice to Meet the ilustrious Turbo Dave, all be it breif, what with the way he was helping jimster, i didnt want to detract anyone.*oh well*

Shame about Will and Ben H's melted piston on saturday, 998 turbo running mid 14's, most of the big bore guys wre running that, impressive.*happy*

Biggest smile of the day was when johnk's 16valver did low 14s in NA class C. Well done that man*happy*

Sorry

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

It was good to meet you Colin! it was nice to meet up with everyone else too. Well done John Kiminis on getting his times, I think there is a lot more to come from these heads.

Alex, why didn't you make it?? I thought you only had a fan belt or something to fix??

Hi guys - nice too meet you all and thanks for the encouragement through Sat - Ford coils - don't trust them (thanks Bud666 for letting me trial yours) my 1/4 time was pretty poor at 14.1sec but the terminal at 102.3mph shows the n/a K16v has some some big bananas, once I sort the 60ft times out (only had 3 runs al lweeekend)we'll be down in the very low 13's. looking forward to next year! ----- the first k1100 headed mini to run the strip and break 100mph?!

cheers JK

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!
