My wifes sportpack mini has been stood for a few months now, and I found this weekend that a rear wheel cylinder has leaked and dripped onto the wheel. I looks like the fluid has been on the wheel for a while as it has lifted the paint on the inside of the wheel.

Working on the theory that alloy callipers don't disolve, I reckon the alloys will be fine. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination, talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol On 20th Apr, 2012 Paul S said:
I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |

The alloy itself will be OK, possibly a touch of surface corrosion, but nothing to worry about, it will just be the paint it has lifted. It doesn't take long for brake fluid to lift paint, a day or two will do it.
