Hello my Mini obsessed friends. Thought it was time I introduced myself. I dont have, or intend building a turbo mini anytime soon, but find the forum aninteresting read anyway.

I have an 83 City, in lovely primula yellow, eugh, which currently is sans engine. Snapped a web on the crank back in 1998, and it hasnt moved since. Built some engines, was given one, but never got round to properly fitting them, due to leaving for uni, and then, never returning home, which is, in a round a bout way, how I found this forum.

At uni, one of my good friend, was Mr Tom Fenton. He has been badgering me, since 1998, to get the mini back up and running. All through uni, and every other month since, we've hatched plans to do it, but theyve never come to fruition.

But now, it happens. Engine bits have been bought, the mini has been uncovered at my parents in the garage, ready to be moved to my garage, and with hard work, and a bit of good luck, we should have it underway this summer!

Toms going to be helping me build the engine, and get it in so big thankyou to him for that, and for introducing me to this useful resource.
