right i'm using a 60-2 trigger wheel and sensor.

this needs aligning on the 20th tooth.

now is this before or after TDC?

so looking at the pulley from the rad engine with the engine on TDC do i want to rotate the pulley clockwise from the missing teeth to the 20th tooth or anti-clockwise?

I think clockwise so that the cutout is 120degrees BTDC?

It would mean that with the engine on TDC, the sensor at about 8 o'clock and the 2 missing teeth at 12.

cheers

With my setups, with the sensor mounted in the direction of the front of the car, with the engine at TDC, the missing tooth is 90 degrees clockwise working from the sensor.

The sensor is at roughly 9 o clock, so the missing tooth should be at 12 o clock, with the engine at TDC.

can different systems need the sensor or missing tooth in a different place? you could do with checking with somebody thats got the same system.

but youve got it running so it cant be a million miles out can it.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

the reference setup is the same for each type of wheel. a 36-1 needs 90 degrees, a 60-2 needs 120 degrees
