i seem to have to much camshaft endfloat in the engine im building. unless im missing something, is it the triangular plate and the oilpump that control the enfloat?

No, you need to fit the timing gear to check the endfloat buddy |

wow that must be a record time reply. i suspected this, but the GAYnes manual say put the cam in and check the endfloat, then fit the gears. but then theyre a bit special. cheers for the help
