My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

The 649 is a full race cam, you'll have bog all bottom end if you use this. Much better off with the P2 if you're wanting to use it on the road.

the general concensus is the avonbar ph 2 is the best thing since someone decided to sell ready cut bread.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i must agree with turbo phil and mini 13

but...... dont discard the kent 266 IMO this is a fantastic turbo cam!

forget the 649 in a turbo motor unless ...... its been wound up on the track

and then the phase 2 still pips it on a turbo motor

cam choice can make or break the enjoyment of driving your car

pick the right cam wisley!

p2 it is then as i thought in the 1st place.
im going to use a t2 and a good head from somwere, and use the car as a weekend/show/trackday car, so it shouldnt be in heavy traffic etc, but it still wants to be a nice fun drive with loads of grunt!!

Seven Enterprises kit certainly is in the yellow Vizard book, from memory the engine with the 649 fitted was a tad extreme, ran a lot of boost, and had a life expectancy of about 500 miles......

As you have mentioned the big yellow book said that at that amount of boost it was squashing the bearings, IIRC. And that it was the limit of the bottom end. I always thought it was odd.
