Just about to replace the ball joints on my hub, anybody know what size of spanner is used to loosen these?

IIRC 1" 5/16

Sure it is. about 32/33mm if you need a metric version. Same as the driveshaft nut and a few other things so its worth getting.

it's an inch and a half *wink*

and a deep drive socket is loads better than a spanner *wink*
