here you go guys,

this is the perfect car for a turbo'd a-series engine to be fitted to:

these are development photos, as this car particular car is not complete yet.

it is a Nostalgia Cars NC Coupe, it uses a modified mini floor plan bonded to a fibreglass body to create a monocoque shell.
It uses all mini running gear, so a turbo engine would just drop straight in!
and would be seriously quick, these cars handle better than a mini, cause they are fully strengthened and come with a half rollcage as standard.

Dont know why but paint it orange. Black out the grill stick and turbo lump with a cossie 2wd intercooler behind the gill and you get a mini General Lee

or have I just had to much beer?

I know exactly what you maen john, Allegro was my first thought. I do like it but it's a bit Gay. Maybe with some nice arches and big ass wheels it could look a bit harder.

spot on, its a replica of the ogle sx1000

there were 66 of them made in the early 60's before the founder David Ogle died

they are now being reproduce by nostalgia cars, the green one pictured is the first one being built. it has a twin SU 1275 engine in it.
they will also take twin cam engines,
and a wide arched GT model is soon to follow (if i get my way lol)

That car gonna have a scary ride at high speed. your steering wheel will get very light. front end areodynamics make it 'lift' up

But nice looking car

rally sport replicas were originaly banham motorsport,

they got a very bad reputation, their cars were meant to be no good, and the guy that ran the buisiness was meant to be a complete arsehole,
when their reputation became to bad, they 'aparantly' sold the buisiness to rally sport replicas, but if you go to the the kit car shows, the original bloke is still there with them.

they just changed there name, to think they could get away with a fresh start, but its still the same old crap.

fibreglass sprint shells are still available and quite cheep if you know the right people. i was offered one for £500 but turned it down as it needs a full cage due to the standard subframe mounts looking a little weak. a friend got one from the same person in carbon fibre for £700 but again will need lots and lots of work

i was also offered the moulds but have no space so again turned it down.

leeds/wakefield.

with a big front air dam ,it i would love to put 2 engines in something as aero as that.

i have recently seen something i thought was an ogle metres from my home , it was old with a 60 plate and looked its age , but was not badged as an ogle but something else ,i cannot remember,.

personally i'd like to build a fully mod prod type racer out of one ,[and you know i can!!!!]lol
