hi

im after a c/r s/c gearbox or a gear set.
im also after a set of 1:1 ratio drop gears.
iv looked on ebay and there doesnt seem to be any at the moment.
needs to be A+, rod change type.

if you cant get any a good compramise is the minispares clubman gearset

these are SC, they are nearly the same ratio as the metro turbo challange set

mini williams runs this set up and places over 200 hp through them!

iam afraid you may have to raid the bank

yer thats what im worring about mate lol
iv seen a load of gearboxes on ebay but there is no more on there!
iv missed one and it went for £130!!!! im gutted!
i was going to get a challange set but i think it was you that said about them not being made any more so i didnt bother.
do you think a second hand set of ebay or somwere would be ok or is it better to go for a new one from a shop or reliable source?
same as the drop gears.

i bought a full set of new old stock tran-x from min-its

hoggie said it was one of the nicest gearsets he has installed

might be worth a try

theres a minisport one for sale that i know of, now i know that minisport are usally a big NO NO but if i was to get one that was new, what should i change even if its like new?
or could i just use the gears and buy a re-build kit from minispares with all the good bits in a rebuild it?
would it be worth it if i could get it cheaply do you think?

What should you change? Any parts made by Minisport. So the gearset, shafts, etc etc........
