i bought a set of standard 1275 rings and tried to install them, they are ever so slightly wider than the turbo ones and will not move in the grooves or set in all the way. talked with avonbar and they say the rings to match my stock AE pistons are NLA. do anyone know if one can but new pistons that match the stock bore so you do not have to do the overbore? thanks, jim

just a follow up to this post, after a lot of searching, thank god for the internet, i found a large manufacturer of rings here in the US that has ones for the stock pistons, or any piston for that fact, and they are on the shelf. one just needs to send them a set of measurements and the price is quite reasonable at 80 GBP for the four piston set, if anyone wants the contact info send me an email and i will pass it on, jim
