Ok chaps the tim worm has finally eaten enough of the front wings and a pannel, for me to justify going for a removable front end. As the car is now destined to become my track/drag car (Avon looked like a barrell of laughs).

I would like a mk1 look fibre glass front purely for asthetic reasons, however can these be fitted to a mk3 car? Or are the front wings bonnet different (apart from the bonnet lip)?

I really want the two peice option so that I dont have to remove the whole front pannel if I just want to check the oil etc.

My main issue is which supplier to go for. I have heard bad things about the fit of nearly all of the major manufactures (curley, minisport, minispeed etc). Whilst the car will definatly not be a show pony I dont really want huge gaps between the a pannel and two peice front either.

So if you could just post whichof the fibre glass fronts you have fitted were the best fit/quality.

PS

All the above assumes that it is not worth the extra cost going to CF for either fit/quality/weight/price reasons is this the case?
