Hi all,

I happened across this one (sadly while having one too many I must admit*wink* Can anyone please put this in plain English (Dutch would be better still*wink* and explain how this would affect/help/whatever the turbo'd Mini?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller_cycle

I can see how it might work on a stationary engine where compressed air is available such as in factories or genegators where compressed air is generated seperately.

Still the VVT thing could be interesting to design/ retrofit

Just seen an issue of 'Car and Criver' magazine - had a feature on the Ford Futura Sprint GT/A that uses a miller-cycle mazda derrived V6 motor - with a CR of 10:1 / 8.0:1 (miller).
Engine looks fantastic, but is pretty naff output for a 3litre lump.
