fair play! bloody quick car, I'm guessing a lot of money, and a silly amount of thought and time has gone into the development on that car.

Well done Stevie

Soon as I can legally get a Rover Vitesse out here, I'm dropping an LS1 and T56 trans into one! Not that it'll anything like as quick as this mind! *happy*

Cheers guys...been a while since I logged on here.

The black Norwegian car is some piece of work, although I read it was a 10 l twin turbo.
I have seen pics, and it is defo a twin turbo monster, but as yet, I havent heard any times.
The engine bay is totally stuffed with engine !!!

Mine's a little more sedate than that, and compact.

I use SUL, no nitrous, although I am injecting a little water/meth mix now.

As for gearing, unfortunately gearing isnt optimal.
The 145 trap was actually very unexpected, although I had hoped to break 140mph. The 145 was just touching 7000rpm in 4th gear, and my power peaks at a little over 6000rpm.
So its hanging onto 4th a bit longer than it should. selecting 5th earlier might be worth it, or it might not.
Wont make any odds to ET, but it might effect terminal speed.

I'll give it a try this weekend at Elvington though, as 150mph 1/4's would be cool *happy*

After this, aside from fixing things that break, I'm not developing the car any further.

I think restoring my old Mini is well overdue. If I can afford to, it might even see some action late next year.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
