Hello lads and lasses. Just wondering if anyone can tell me where i could get a set of 175.50.13 slick tyres from?? Idealy gona be used for quartermile drag strips. Thanks.

Slicks don't come in the normal sizes. In fact it can be quite confusing, especialy from Avon.

You stuggle finding that size, but i have some very bald Yoko 048r's going for free if they are any use.

These things get proper sticky after a tyre warming burnout.

As ben said, no such thing as a175.50 x 13 slick.

BMTR is the place for avons http://www.racecarnewmedia.com/bmtr/

Both Avons and Hoosiers are crossplys and come in very sticky compounds ideal for dragracing. most people with 13" wheels on a mini us 7.0. 20 x 13 (this a 7" wide slick with a 20" diameter)

Radial slicks are available, I can't remember exactly how these are measuered, but the tyre wall is a measurement rather than a % of the width.
