Has anybody power up a MS using a 9v battery while it’s removed from the car? (This would enable me to connect it up to my works PC and play with the map there)

I did this with my MegaJolt, worked a treat. Can't comment on a Squirt though, not messed with one.

9 volt battery power it fine, it's what they use on the stimulator board.

I have used a 9v battery with no problem. If it is just in simolation and not powering injectors and the like it will last ages.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll try the PP3 route initially, as I’ve just purchase the connectors/wire from Maplins. I guess as far as all the earth go, I should connect then all up just to be on the safe side! |
