I saw this a couple of years back - I was always intrueged by the design (albeit being thought of in the 1930's!).
A chap at work was talking to me about them today, so I thought I'd post this to show you guys.

They appear to offer alot, whilst reducing weight blah blah blah!

See what you think:

Apparently the bloke who design this was on the Dragons Den last year?

Hannibal: There are two ways we can do this: the easy way and the hard way. In a few minutes my friends and I are going to come down on you like your worst nightmare. You're gonna wish the Earth had opened up and swallowed you whole.
bad guy: What's the easy way?
Hannibal: That WAS the easy way.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I read about these a few years back too, sealing is the biggest problem.

I seem to remember that the conclusion was that they would be best suited to a high revving engine, i.e. F1

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,
talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol
