*happy*
it's an innocenti cooper 1974 shell,
I've changed complete front end,a panels, floor panels, .
just finished the paint.
The genuine colour is innocenti bianco avorio ,it was a little clear so I prefered vw colour which is slightly (1tone or 2) more ivoire...

I'll post picture along the work is progressing

fab....i think its great that you are going to resto this beaut ! can i give you some advice, all be it my humble opinion and that is all.

do not turbo this or modify it, if you have the innocenti bits, reason being that they are very rare ! and worth a fare bit too. i have seen genuine innocenti`s go for around 4 - 6k (iam not exagerating guys) i would restore it as a pucker innocenti, flog it then get a run of the mill shell to turbo ?

i mean no offence hear, and it is only what i would do. if you decide to turbo it, then good luck bud, it will be different i guess :)

Richie

ps i await being slated by everyone and shouted down big time .

Hi Richie
I know these inno are getting rare, and that they start to be a bit pricey, but really I didn't pass two years restoring a mini, just for sale it and make money *crying*, it will not be the same with an over one...
Also it's really a story with her, and I can't imagine offering a pour std 1275.
So it'll make that sort of sound:brooaaashhpshhhhiiiiiiiiiiii,*happy*
but the body will not be modified, I could revert to genuine at any time.

Wheels are ruspa , 4.75 inch wide, ten inchers evidently, most important is that they have good inset which help against torque stear.the front tyres, dunlops d93 are lightly wider than the yoks and so increase the eye effect on the wheels.

under the bonnet there's a mg mety n/a engine with turbo pistons (20831, lightly worked mpi head,
an all new 1275gt gearbox, with 3.1 diff
the clutch is the weak point , with a verto 2.25mm cover ( turbo one), and a 190 mm clutch plate ,valeo high friction lining, it does slip a bit when high boost is set, but does prevent gearbox blow, and this does work since one year now.
turbo is an home selected/made one fromm kkk turbine and compressor (78/79%) efficiency in my plage of presure/flow, this give compr out temp between 40 and 80°), this blowing thru an s3 intercooler.
don't know power, but it does take the money to a Z3 2.8, and a cooby thru the three first gears..
thanks for comments
