Argh! just noticed that the oil pipe that comes from the engine block to round the rear has cracked! Its splid just on the join to the ring that goes round the bolt on the block front, its not fully come away, just twisted apart. Been there done that. Only I did it while driving ! I had a good laugh when I noticed that someone?s car had leaked a long line of oil on the tarmac... until I remembered that I had driven that route only 5 minutes earlier and was in fact following my own tracks... also my back window was somewhat oily ! I had to put 5 litres of oil in the engine. I started the engine to see where it leaked and found a crack in the steel line. It was a simple fix with hydraulic hose and 4 jubilee clips so I could drive to a hydraulic shop to have a steel braided hose done. Make sure that they know it is for turbo application. Mine has teflon liner to cope with the heat. Anyway, I ended up driving the whole summer with the temporary fix since it was pain in the a** to get at the banjo bolt at the turbo.
