hey guys, been taking advantage of the (possibly last) long summer breaks us students get, so been away travelling, heres the low down on what ive been up to.

For the last 5 weeks ive been bombing around europe with johnny, one of my best mates from uni in his campervan, the plan was to get to serbia and back (for Exit festival) and visit a few choice destinations on the way, which ended up being london, paris, amsterdam, berlin, prague, vienna, budapest, belgrade, novi sad (for the festival), we then headed down to croatia (had to drive the whole way round bosnia as our insurance didnt cover us there) to sun ourselves for a week in the adriatic.



We gave ourselves 3 days to get back from croatia to dunkerque, but i got a bit carried away and did it (1402 miles) in 16 hours and 5 redbulls, so we spent 2 days at bray dunes (just nextdoor to dunkerque) eating too many moules and drinking too much wine.

Its been without doubt the best holiday ive ever had, highlights, apart from the festival, have got to be amsterdam, such an open minded place LOL!
I was always under the impression that europe was massive, but after this trip ive realised just how small it actually is, if only people realised how easy it is to drive rather than fly...

Hoping to do something similar but maybe around asia in a couple of years.

Spent the last week (and the rest of my overdraft) visiting my sister at her new gaff in london on my way back, so now back on the island with no money, 10 resits in a month and absolutley no idea what to do.

Hope youve all had a great summer so far, and hope ive not missed too much banter since ive been away.

If i get chance, gonna try source a fuel reg and get the 998 turbo "running" (with a std 998 head until i get the 202) on the bench this week.

Sounds like you have had a good trip, I must admit I had noticed you had disappeared from the forum and wondered what you were up to!

Went to amsterdam courtesy of the Royal Navy a good few years back. Certainly is an 'interesting' place

as far i am able to see from your map you missed three turbo minis on the way. one is turboharry in vienna, second on the croatian coast. and if you crossed Slovenia you missed mine turbo mini too.

if anyone from TM forum will travell cross my country is welcome to stop. my doors are opened (no problem for sleeping, food,etc)

sounds like a good trip. i have just done some tops for some lads goin on a stag do to amsterdam. black tops with a neon green cannibis leaf on the front and a sexual position on the back lol

Stag does in amsterdam are good!! ha ha! i went to one last september.

I would say i remember it well but i would be lying!!

Then we drove to Assen for the world superbikes.

Excellent long weekend, something we may be doing again this year.
