ok its not an a-sereis but its going in a mini.

got 2 turbo units to throw on my 1.6 k-series, both have the 48 inlet trim but one has .49 exhaust and the other a .64 from a rover 200 turbo and a CA18DET 200sx respectively.

whaty difference will it make to how it boosts(engine rpm etc) and the boost it will make?

the .49 one has the usual crack in the exhaust side between the wastegate and turbine if it makes any odds.

cheers gents :)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

i'm using the rover one on my mini. seems to suit it very well.

i've been told the .64 will probably boost around 5k on the mini...

can see it being similar on the k series although not quite as bad.

coolio, so does the .64 flow better off boost then? as it technically tyakes less energy out the exhaust stream?stil trying to get up to speed on all this turbo nonsence.

cheers, will try the rover one first then, and see how she feels.

it most likely does but you dont spin the turbo up as its too free flowing if you get me. exhaust gases are too slow.
