I might be able to help you, obviously on a you break it you pay for it type thing.

Itt gets used a lot at the weekends, so depends when you want it and, of course, if I'm the closest offer you get; I'm a good hour from Runcorn.

If you have some ratchet straps, then I have a 'towing dolly' in south Manchester that you are welcome to use.
If you spend a few minutes dis-assembling it, you can even pop it in the back of a decent sized car pretty easilly...

I'll keep that in mind too, Cheers Dave. But i think this mini is gonna need a the full monty as its been sat in the open in the Lake district for some time.

A mate was given this and asked me to look it over. Havent seen it but when he said it was in the open and hasnt moved for five years I said It'll need a shit load of work, or, the back end will be perfic for my Mini trailor and the front end for the mock up install of the 16valver.

Pick it up and then make the decision i think, bolloxed if im going all the way up there without a trailor and it be pants.

Oh and, rachet straps, oh yes, I have some 3 inch ones with enough strength and leverage in the ratchet to bend the sides of a transit drop sider, Salford van hire were not pleased, LOL.

Have you not thought about giving indespension a call? Tell them you want a 6x10ft trailer with a ramp for loading a gang-mower or similar onto. If you tell them you want to collect a car - even a mini - they'll only do you a HUGE trailer that you could almost get two minis on...

I hired a trailer for a day to collect the lads Mini 30 from Cambridge and it only cost £30 from our local trailer hire people I found in the yellow pages.
