i have a nokia phone so use nokia pc suite to take pics from my phone to add them to my pc when needed, the prob is the application has a mind of its own & only lets me upload pics to my pc when it wants, it throws out rubbish error msgs, i've deleated the program, uninstalled it, put it back on, its having none of it :( I HATE PC's!!!!!!!! i find all computer to phone applications utter shite imo, the one i have now is slightly better (sony ericsson) but even thats a pain in the arse. What i've done in the past is just buy a bluetooth usb adaptor about £20 and just send them that way. |

When i connect my nokia to the PC , the phone gives me the option to use it as a "data storage device" . I accept that option, and use windows explorer to transfer pictures and tunes etc.

gav that sounds a decent idea, does the bluetooth 'thing' just plug in the usb port and off you go!

I just store the pictures on the phone in the mmc card,then take it out and put it in the computer.

yeah pretty much, you do have to install a cd that takes about 5 mins but thats it, i use a belkin one £10/15 off ebay |

I also use a Belkin USB Bluetooth, its is fine.

nokia data suite is a POS..
i would'nt mind but i have a digi camera & when i went to using windows xp it does'nt like the digi camera drivers one bit, so cant use it arrrrrrrrhhhh!
have you gone to the camera manufacturer's website and downloaded the latest XP driver for the camera? |
