What are the differences between normal 8.4 inch disk hubs and the origional cooper 7.5 hubs?

iirc correct the steering arms were slightly different in some way but thats nothing Crystal Sound Audio said:

They might be different. 8,4 hubs are bigger on the OD of the bearing carrier. This means 60ies and 70ies 7,5 brake discs won't fit on a80ies 8,4" hub. Honest.

As V points out - the geometry is all the same, but the 'outside' of the S-hubs is fully machined a slightly smaller diameter than the 8.4" hubs.
