Trying to find out some good imformation on how to set up engines, mainly interested in how the ignition timing is set in relation to boost, revs etc. I know it is best to have a engine set on the dyno but i was wondering how they set the timing? Do they use a ball park figure and then fine tune using det cans? This may seem stupid but just trying to get my head around a few things.
