Can you build one out of A-series as they seem to drink fuel with turbo bolted on.

i dont want certain mr tax man raping me.

as modern car engine got more fuel efficent. is that too complicated with A-series with its 5 port head which bugger up the FI system?

I get terrible economy at anything between 40 and 70 mpg on light cruise; I'm always around 12.8/13.2 on the AirFuel ratio.
That is after spending ages perfecting a needle. I have the part-throttle bypass hose (balance pipe) permanently blocked however.

I'm just waiting on the injection to sort all the problems to be honest...

thats interesting. that the fuel ecomony is good i would be happy if it running 40mpg.

i regulary get 38 to 40 mpg when crusing at 55 to 60 mpg on long runs.

but yes my cr is high at 9.4 which does help and on a 2.95 diff which realey does help.

gearing is the main thing

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

yes i went out on a thrash one night, this included a long period flat out, when i got back i was chatting to tom on msn and he worked out my average mpg to be something stupid like 28mpg

thats better than my pickup when driving steady
