i need my engine rebuilding - reboring etc and am converting my midget to metro turbo power (sorry its not a mini) i was just wondering who you guys/girls recommend as the best company to undertake the work?
is med engineering any good?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

depends a bit where in the country you are.

Obviously its a lot easier to take bits directly to the company. MBE where we held the RR day is suppose to be good, know a fair number of people who have had engines built by him and are happy.

Most people arent keen on MED, i havent had any first hand experience but people such as jimster have.

Phil Hepworth AKA racespec is still doing bits... He's in Warrington incidentally... I trust him to my machining.

If he wasn't doing it anymore, I'd be using Swifty or OAP.

Above all, remember that price is often reflected in quality and vice-versa....
