hi, we have cleared our garage and can get to some of the engines in there now. i have searched on the net, but havent found anything telling me what the engines are. if anyone could help it would be much apreciated

99H997B 116535 (this is a 998, the engine might be old stock as it has seen very little use)

12HC16AA (the net says its a turbo motor? but cant find year etc)

12A2BGO3 (obviously a 1275, but have no idea of origins)

any help/yuseful webistes would be apreciated, hope someonw can help, thanks

I clicked on the search button.

Entered 'Engine number' and clicked the 'search thread body' box, and Voila; Several posts all with a link to the Engine number collection on the Manchester Minis website...

Hi

I have a 12 HC 16AA and I can't find any info for it any where. I came from a 1986 Metro Turbo. I had known the car all my life and it was genuine but it's not listed anywhere. Even on the file from the post above.

If you do have any 'unidentified' engine numbers which I can add to the list above would be greatly appreciated... These are only the ones I've managed to glean out of manuals, and verified documentation....

typing the engine number into google sometimes work give it a try*smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
