I'm thinking of adding a 5 or 10 bhp nitro kit on my turbo engine to increase spooling and speed up the turbo faster and maybe add 5 or 10 bhp of nitro on the top end for "intercooling" purposes.

I have a few questions:

- Should I add one or two nitro nozzles on the turbo manifold?
- Where should the nozzle(s) be positioned?
- What engine management system to use (ie megajolt/megasquirt II or else)?

Any positive/negative experiences with this kind of setup are more then welcome. Example setups / pics much appreciated!

I alway thought that you needed to jet at the nozzle as the presure drop across the solenoid could freeze it open. (not that I know anything about this)

Thanks for the quick reply (been posting my message during work as well...:)

Indeed i meant nitrous.

I am still wondering where to put the injector on the manifold. There seems to be little space to put the injector somewhere in the middle..

I might be able to remove the vaccum take-off for the brake servo (and create a new take off point somewhere else on the manifold) and create some kind of adaptor for the nitrous/fuel injector which then uses the old vaccum take-off.

this was the reccomded set up by The Wizards of Nos.

The fuel and N20 into the same injecter, the N20 firing behind the fuel to blast/attonize it.

Works well although i have hardly used it.

The dual-injector setup doesn't suit the A-series... In some applications (like webers) it's the easiest option - but it ISN'T the best...
The only way is as per the picture that JF has just thrown up. Nice and simple, and no charge-stealling issues (well, no more than with a carb anyway)!

Put simply, if you do it with a nozzle in each tract, then the inside cylinders take 540-crank-degrees worth of nitrous/fuel, wheras the outer cylinders take 180-crank-degrees worth... Makes for a slightly un-balanced mixture.... *wink*
